MEET JOE
Joe has worked in data protection for 14 years and during this time has earnt a Masters in Information Rights Law and Practice. His experience has ranged from in-house roles to Director of Data Protection in a consultancy firm, supporting over 100 clients with their data protection compliance.
In 2021 Joe received a distinction for his dissertation on the utilisation of health data in the development of AI tools and research in the highly regulated health sector.
Joe is known for his pragmatic approach and understanding there is no one size fits all when it comes to data protection compliance. He has a particular interest in working with first-in-class initiatives, and has advised on some highly complex programmes including:
Establishment of multiple Health Research Databases
Development and Deployment of AI in the health sector
Complex multi-agency data sharing initiatives to identify and protect victims of modern slavery
First-in-class data sharing initiatives for approval on the NHS Federated Data Platform.

Joe Stock LLM - Managing Director
Joe has worked in data protection for 14 years and during this time has earnt a Masters in Information Rights Law and Practice. His experience includes senior in-house data protection roles to being Director of Data Protection in a consultancy firm, supporting over 100 clients with their data protection compliance.
In 2021, Joe received a distinction for his dissertation on the utilisation of health data in the development of AI tools and research in the highly regulated health sector. The methodology created from this has already been applied to real-world health AI technologies and will continue to be utilised at Iniver.

Outside of data protection, Joe is a keen traveller having visited all seven continents. He also chose the glamour of data protection over his other passion of drumming, having played with the Band of the Irish Guards whilst at school and covering the likes of Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy and Red Hot Chili Peppers with his old band around the pubs of London many moons ago.
